    Dash conditioner, dash protectant?

Any preferred plastic dash treatment products out there, to help reduce the spreading of cracks on my dash?
    Like an armor all type?

If you already have cracks, make sure you drill out the ends of each crack, to prevent them from further spreading.

As far as a product, I'd like to know too, my dash is crack free and I'd like to keep that way.

I use a sunshade and Lexal every other month to keep the dash from getting dried out. Keeping the sun off of it as much as possible really helps.

Drilling and or burning holes don't work. And oddly enough all new cracks in my dash came on over the winter when it was around 0°F. The largest one happened while driving at night.

I've used olive oil in all my e30's and have never had a cracked dash in the past 7+ years

UV light breaks down the plasticizers which are needed to keep the plastic flexible on the dash. Then with thermal cycling, the plastic cracks when its no longer flexible enough to contract and expand with the foam under neath.

I can see them expanding and contracting. During the day they are almost closed. At night when it cools off they are open to the point I can see the foam.
