Hei guys,
I'm having some brake issues. Recently I had a front bearing fail on me and in the process had to do a front brake job. Prior to this, my brakes were functioning as they should.
After doing the brake job (including pressing the caliper cylinder in), my brakes were mushy. I did a full flush of the system (sucked out the old fluid, then bled with new fluid). However, the brake pedal is still staying mushy and going to the floor. I don't see any evidence of leaking from the MC itself and the fluid level is steady. The pedal will harden with some pressing of the pedal but will go back to mushy state.
One problem I did find when bleeding the rear brakes was that the bleeder nipples were full of gunk and cleaned them out. Once this was done, the flow was much better. No problems from the front and during bleeding I didn't notice any air bubbles.
So what gives - should I replace the MC or use a better bleeding system? Iwas thinking of getting a vacuum bleeder this week. Some help would be great. Thanks!
