    Cabrio window guide rail

I’ve tracked my door rattle to a broken weld on the window guide bracket and need to replace it. Has anybody done this before or know if a procedure to do this properly?

I had the same issue, crazy rattle started and I finally found my guide broke. It's actually pretty easy to get out, its just held by one screw.

They aren't that expensive but I just JB Welded mine then reinstalled it and its been fine for about 6 months or so.
Thank god, R3V was getting boring since the ginger kid wrecked his car. - Stonea

Were you able to just remove the bolt and wiggle out the guide bar with the window up? Was there any disassembly required of the window mechanism/motor?

Yeah basically exactly what you said. It's been a while since I've done it and it seemed fairly simple, so I can't recall all the details but I didn't have to disassemble anything else.

Getting it back in seemed like more of a PITA if I remember correctly but overall it wasn't a bad job at all.
