Sachs 765 on M20 pedal engagement on the floor

Hey guys, I've recently replaced my Flywheel and Clutch on my M20 with the RHD 240mm flywheel that accepts the Sachs 765 pressure plate with an unsprung organic disc. The install went well, clutch disc can only be installed one direction so it cant be that. I did not open the slave cylinder bleed line at all, the hydraulic system was left completely untouched, so I can't imagine that it needs bleeding, although I could try it.

My problem is that when I release the clutch, it engages very close to the floor, and it is extremely abrupt when it does engage, unlike my 6 puck clutch I had before that would engage at the top of the clutch throw and was much more progressive.

I've been told to try a few things, but before I go throwing parts at it, i'd like to hear what R3v had to say. Thanks

Did you ever get this figured out? I will be ordering the RHD 240mm flywheel and 765 pressure plate (for my 24v + ZF320 combo) and am gathering the parts list.

I believe the issue is the TOB height. We're combining a shorter single mass flywheel with a clutch setup that was designed to be used with a dual mass flywheel. I wanna say that you need to use the e21 323 TOB or weld risers onto the pivot fork. Check out Pazi88 on Youtube. He did the riser method.
