    Pre-88 bodies. 15x8 with 205/50/15 and H&R race...

Anyone have a 15x8 (ET15 or ET20) wheel with 205/50/15 tires on H&R Race springs? Looking for a pic from a pre-88 body that has the taller wells.

Also interested in the same setup on H&R Sports. I see a lot of pics of these springs so, not a huge need. Would be cool to have a side by side...

Worried I may have to roll the fenders on the H&R Race setup...

Plenty, Google Spec E30 and that's literally what you're asking for.

Check out my thread. Although my car is a late model it worked fine for me. If you would need to roll it at all it would be a little in the back.

What did you do with the first set of wheels? Did you like them? They are a brand I am considering. Did you end up using the E90 top hats?

The trm's are currently sitting in my garage I'm deciding if I am going to put drag radials on two of them. I didn't end up running the e90 top hats. If coils are out of the question then I would only run H&R race. But then again this car has never been my true daily driver so you have to keep that in mind if your's is.

With the TRMs, did you have to roll the fenders with the H&R race cprings? I am considering Sport springs due to daily, but guys are saying that the race springs aren't that bad at all.

Also, do you mind telling me the exact setup with shocks and springs you did? Anything like the tower supports, etc? Or did you use stock shock mounts and such? I am doing a full poly replacement kit and have Koni adjustables with either H&R race or H&R sport. Wasn't sure if I needed anything else to provide better camber, etc.

I read a ton of different things and at any moment, you can get conflicting examples... Your setup prior to the turbo and such is what I am after. I like the stance and the final look.

I ran H&R Race with bilstein sports. Stock top hats and spring perches. We rolled the rears just for good measure but I am not sure you will need to. If you do I'm sure there is someone local who can rent you their tool. Just get them nice and hot and roll them slowly. I didn't find the ride too harsh but most of my daily drivers are firmer rides anyways (Z3 Coupe, S2000, M3 on BC Coils etc). I say bite the bullet and go for the Races you won't regret it. All of my bushings have been replaced with poly as well and for a while I was running solid engine mounts.
