I recently went over to the JDM-darkside with my 535i turbo and installed an SAFC, now I've got some leftover parts.
- Vortech SFMU
These operate almost identically to the BEGI RRFPR. The top screw adjust your max fuel pressure under boost, the "Bleed" and "Boost" screws let you fine tune how fast it goes rich during spool-up. It comes with instructions, barbed adapters so it accepts 8mm fuel lines, and a full set of calibration disks, rings, vacuum line restrictor, and a mount I welded up that allows you to bolt it to the brake master cylinder.

-OBX 8:1 Fixed-Rate FMU
Unlike the previous item, this unit has ZERO adjustability. It simply raises fuel pressure 8psi for every psi of boost. With proper AFM adjustment and 30lb injectors I was hitting 12:1 AFR by 3-4psi on a 6lb spring. Granted I went to an SAFC a few weeks after installing it, so I can't speak to its long term reliability. This is by no means a permanent solution, but worked surprisingly well on a car with larger injectors and low boost. As with any FMU/band aid, use at your own risk. Everyone knows the history of OBX parts by now and we're not here to argue quality/validity.

I planned on using this, but E34 engine bays aren't as roomy as you'd think. Never seen oil/idle. Comes with mounting brackets, hardware, fittings, and a hose of questionable quality and smell. It has a dipstick so you won't have to bother with removing it to check the level.
