A little advice on coilover install?

    Hey everyone,

I am finally getting around to getting my entire rear end put back together and am at the point where I can finally bolt on the struts! I have a set of fortune auto coilovers going in the car (not looking for anyone's thoughts on them), and whereas the rear end is typically a pretty straight forward install, the struts themselves have the ability to adjust the height on top of the adjustable spring perches.

I installed a set of coilovers on my old e36, and don' remember the rear strut being height adjustable on top of the adjustable spring perch. What I am looking for is feedback as to what people think the length of the rear strut should be set at. I already threw the blown old ones out weeks ago, so I can't compare those unfortunately. Does anyone know the approximate length of Bilstein sports or koni yellows designed for lowered cars that I can mirror length wise?

I found one thread searching today that claimed stock shocks are 21.5" in length. No idea if that was from the end of the threaded portion to the middle of the eye, from the top hat to the bottom, etc.

I just picked a distance a little less then that and just ran with it for now...I'll have to do a ton of adjusting a know.
