Howdy, folks.

Want to buy an aesthetically stock E30 in good shape for daily driving.

No preference:
- color
- year
- 2 or 4 door
- hard or soft top

Prefer:
- good working condition
- within ~500 mi of Austin

Must have:
- Manual

Looking to spend $3-6k.

Willing to accept some blemishes and issues but want to be able to start driving it right off.

1990 325i, good history

4 door, auto.
I have an e30, currently in Houston. Carfax history from CA then OR. I've had it a few years in CO, a couple of weeks in Houston.
Mostly gone through, extra car. Not perfect nor bad.
Looking to change it for AWD/4WD for my daughter starting college in Leadville, CO.

I have a red 1988 325i. Its a project and I'm pretty sure im outside of 500 miles but I can drive it to you. It's mechanically fine, but it does need work. Sport seats need to be recovered, needs new convertible top (which i will include but its not installed). Brand new fuel pump, rebuilt odometer, recent oil change, oil filter replaced, fuel filter replaced, recent coolant flush.
I don't have records from previous owner so I assumed it will need transmission service and timing belt water pump at some point in the near future. PM Me if you are interested.

EDIT: Car is rust free, i am located in Augusta Ga. Also it is a 5 speed manual and every once in a while it tries to pop out of reverse. There are dings and dents, crack free dash, but there is a crack in the windshield.
