    Wanting new suspension set up

Im currently running on h&r race and bilstein sports, ie 22mm front and garagistic eyeball cab. I have the rear 19mm sway just havent put it in. Rear shocks are toast. I have been searching for a new set up. This car isnt a dd or a track focused car. Will occasionally see some autox.

I have come up with BC Racing with Swift springs with a 8k front 10k rear.

Granted i can lower them if you think itll be too harsh. Need to compromise a little so my wife wont hate the car.

    KW v1 coils

Lastly Fortune Auto 500s with similar spring rates as the BC's.

Let me know what should be a good

You are coming from a pretty good/stiff setup with race h&r springs and thicker sway bar.

kw v1 are nice but as you know only height adjustable. Depends on what your intentions are, if not a dd, then perhaps not the best choice relative to their cost.

kw also make coilovers v3 i beleive that wont require cutting and welding the knuckle.

Can't go wrong with BC, have you checked out CA tune who provide a full coil"over" for the rear?

Yeah i know i am coming from a pretty good set up. Although i have had it for 5 years and bought it used. And my current car is the second car i have had it in. Part of the reason why i have not installed the rear sway.

I am really leaning towards the bc coils and perhaps opting for the swift springs as well. Still would be the cheapest option.

Catuned does have their full race style coilover. But i have heard it is essentially just for the track. Would i not have to weld in a reinforcement plates? Or just run a strut tower bar?

Yeah the CA Tuned Competiton has 10kg front and 12kg rear spring rate so that could be too harsh for the misses.

I'm no structural engineer but I would logically think if you have a strut bar installed, it would act as a defacto reinforcement as it is sharing the load via the bolts that go through it.

Let me know how the BC goes vs your current setup.
