1988 Bronzit 325is coupe, 141k miles, SoCal car NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Up for sale is my coupe and all the parts I have accumulated over the years. There is a lot that I might have forgotten to list here, but I will do my best to put the big stuff in here. You will see all parts in person as well. Do not bother contacting if you are going to try and talk price down much. I am set on its value and wont be moving much on price. If it is too much for you then find another example, there are plenty out there (but not as clean as this most likely).

    Exterior -

Original Bronzit paint throughout except for front and rear bumper covers as these were added to convert from metal diving board bumpers to 89' and later plastic bumpers. Paint has been polished and ceramic coated. Some minor road rash on front end of car, lower valence and hood, but not too bad considering age and mileage. Drivers side rear quarter panel has a scratch that was attempted to polish out but the previous owner got overzealous and took the paint down to primer. Pics will show this accurately. Rest of car is very clean with a few minor door dings, but nothing major and nothing really noticeable at first glance. Pics will show all dings and scratches. New BMW brand windshield installed. Factory color matched rear IS spoiler is mounted and has no structural damage (paint could use some help tho). New sunroof seal installed.

    Interior -

Interior is very nice. Sport tan vinyl seats with matching door cards. All in great shape minus drivers side seat back bolster which has a little bit of the vinyl coming apart (not a tear per-se as the underfabric holding the vinyl together is still intact, see pics.) Crack free dash in excellent condition. Cocomat brand coconut fiber floor mats help make the interior to life along with a metal pedal cover set (can easily be converted back to the rubber pedal covers). ZHP weighted shift knob makes for a very nice shifting feel with no slop in shifting linkage. Matching leather boot cover and e-brake cover with M-stitching. Headliner in excellent shape with no sagging at all. A very clean looking Kenwood aftermarket head unit has been installed with a G.A.S. e30 specific subwoofer enclosure and trunk mounted amplifier. System was designed around G.A.S. recommended audio components and sounds like...well you will have to hear for yourself. All done using BMW factory wiring and is very clean and tidy. Takes up minimal trunk space and can be removed and reversed if so desired (but why would you once you hear it.) Trunk carpet is clean and nice, nothing to say about trunk area.

    Engine -

Stock and factory installed m20. Nothing done to it minus an original Dinan chip ( have factory chip as well). Timing belt is due and will come with the kit to perform the service yourself (lots of people told me to leave it for the next owner that way they will know that it was done and done right). Racing dynamics front strut bar installed. A/C system has been retrofitted for R-134A and blows ice cold. Heating system works great too, no leaks or smell of coolant. Mishimoto aluminum radiator installed. Water pump should be replaced when the timing belt is done. Power steering works perfectly and makes no noise. A ceramic coated and highly polished intake manifold is included in the sale but not attached to the engine as of now. A powdercoated white valve cover is also included but not installed.

    Exhaust -

Stromung Stainless steel cat back exhaust installed and sounds amazing ( see video clips for sound , this alone is one of the best parts of the car). Catalytic converter is present and passes smog with flying colors.

    Drivetrain -

Manual transmission has been serviced with Redline fluid. Has minor leak coming from top of tranny (couple of drops after driving, but not continuous). Clutch feels great and works great. Original driveshaft with rebuilt rear half shafts and 3.73 LSD. No chatter or noises. Mounted with AKG poly bushing (softest one they sell). Rear trailing arm bushings replaced with AKG as well. No squeals or squeaks, just smooth buttery articulation.

    Steering & Suspension -

Bilstein Sport shocks with H&R sport springs installed at all 4 corners. XX,XXX miles on them and no leaks or noises. Handles great but does not make for too stiff a ride. Both front wheel bearings replaced. Lemfoerder control arms with e30 M3 offset control arm bushings installed. Have one extra in parts kit as well. Tie rods have same mileage on them as the shocks. No boots broken or torn. Steering feel is direct and tight.

    Braking System -

All 4 OE calipers have been rebuilt and powdercoated red. Stainless steel brake lines at each corner. New ATE brake fluid flush and bleed just performed. New Powerstop zinc plated rotors and Powerstop ceramic brake pads installed. Proper brake bedding performed after installation. Master cylinder performs properly and does not leak.

    Wheels & Tires -

Aftermarket Alpina Kopi 17" wheels mounted with Kuhmo Ecsta PS31 tires on all 4 corners. Center caps included and look great. Lots of life left on all tires. No curb rash on wheels. Some paint chips on the wheels however (see pics, but looks like a factory defect in not having the proper prep performed when they were painted). Hubs have Motorsports Hardware wheel studs in all 4 corners. Also included is a set of factory 14" basketweaves that have been straightened and refinished in the factory silver color. Only 1 is mounted with a tire. Another non-restored basketweave is in the trunk as a spare tire.

    Additional Parts -

A HIK fabrications Super Duty Skid Plate is included, but not mounted.

A bag of interior switches and knobs included.

A box of new BMW parts is included - bulbs, seals, gaskets, filters, etc

Original diving board bumpers included with factory plastic trim.

Probably some other things I am missing but this is most of it.

    NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Call or text with any questions.

Bump price drop due to spare motor being sold...the car still has it's original engine in it. Runs great!

How so, it's got a perfectly operational motor in the car now...the motor being sold is an uninstalled rebuild for my last car. I removed the motor info from the post but I'll clarify in my last reply about price drop due to motor sale...it's those small details you forget that can make a big difference!! Sorry for the confusion.

11k just seems high for a car with no motor.

Willing to trade for a Polaris RZR or Can-Am Maverick. Open to trades for other cars/trucks of similar value or greater that are easy to sell. Also if certain parts on the car are not desired, wheels, exhaust, sound system etc price can be adjusted accordingly.

Not in a hurry but want to see this go to a good home.
