Car passed final inspection in ILLINOIS title was sent to Secretary of State in Springfield to get a rebuilt title. Never got my title, I called copart, DMV and they said i cant get duplicate title, cause car is older than 25 years old. Selling car as is with no title. If I don't sell the car as whole I will part it out in Spring.

This seems sketchy. I would never personally buy this car from you without the proper paperwork, probably something you should have obtained back when you bought it. If the title was sent to the Illinois secretary of states office, you should call them to find out what happened to it, you called copart and the DMV, why not call them.

At the very least you should market this car as a potential race car or auto cross car instead of parting it out if it doesn’t sell...seems like a waste to eventually crush it.

of course i would never sell a car without proper paperwork. Car will be sold as parts car, race car, drift car. I called copart, secretary of state in new york, sos said they did not receiv the title and if title was lost they will not issue a duplicate title cause car is too old. I have a copy of previous owner title. When copart sell a car they give you voided title of previous owner and issue a new salvage title, after you fix a car or restore and pass all inspections you send a title to secretary of state in springfield and they issue a new rebuilt title for dealer who had rights to buy this car from copart.

No i put some money to this car to drive it, i drove it only for 5k miles maybe with a dealer plates, while i was waiting for my title and now i cant do anything about it.
