    Wipers Won't Turn Off

    Hey guys,

I've been fighting this issue for months now. The wipers will not turn off via the stalk. The only way to get them to turn off is unplug the relay or the motor.

I started by switching out the motor with a known working one and the problem persisted. I then swapped out the stalk with a known working one and the problem stopped...until the next rain. So then I tried replacing the relay and they still don't turn off. Then I just dealt with plugging in the relay whenever it rained.

Up to this point, I have tried 3 known working motors (out of friend's cars), 2 known working stalks (out of friend's cars), and a brand new relay. Based on the electrical schematic, these are the only three parts of the system. I checked continuity between all the wires and all are good so no wires should be broken anywhere.

Any help is greatly appreciated cause I'm completely jammed.

Does the stalk still control speed and WW fluid spray?

No speed control, not sure about washer as it has been missing since I bought the car.

You may have continuity but did you check continuity to ground? It seems you may have a wiring problem if replacing items didn't change anything.
