    WTB: M20 Manual Swap Parts

Looking for a Getrag 260 in good condition. I have an 87 325 with an m20b27, but its an auto.

I want to manual swap so if you have a full swap, I'd be interested as well.

    Going off this info: http://www.unofficialbmw.com/phpBB/v...ic.php?t=33173
    I need:
    b) late 'eta' trans (1986, 1987, 1988 manufacture dates?)
    i) 260.0.1270.90 is on the side of the 'eta' trans
ii) shifter mounting about the output flange has 2xM10 holes for the 84,85,86 style plate mount shifter, AND top boss for the aluminum bracket of the 87-91 style shifting mechanism.
iii) shallow bellhousing : Slave cylinder mounting flange = 6 1/2
iv) cast boss for 2 drilled holes for crank position sensors, may or may not be drilled
    v) larger output flange

Preferably local pickup in central KY. If you have a way to ship it and its cost effective, I'd also be interested in that as well.

    M20b25 G260

I'm located in Columbus OH I have everything you need. I just refreshed my m20b25 new water pump timing belt and components all new. Put entire gasket and seal kit on car. Have a 260 getrag with 7.5lb aluminum flywheel with new clutch. Drive shaft to go with it. Also a refreshed 3.73 LSD differential. Never ran setup after refresh due to me going s52 turbo. Let me know I'll send you pictures.

Would you be willing to part with just the driveshaft @Smitht09?

Shallow bell housing? Did e30's have two sizes?

Early and late style ETA trans have deep and shallow bell housings, respectively.

Didn't know this. Is this to accommodate a different flywheel? I have a 1989 325is motor being used with a 1984 eta trans and single mass flywheel from a 325e. Will they fit together?

Throw out bearing maybe. From what I've read, its easier to use a early eta trans on a late B25, but not the other way around.

This is my first swap, so I could be wrong.
