    '88 325is Lachs "Dieter"

Recent purchase from Phil at the "shop" automotive collective in Seattle. Quick note on the location, it is a garage that has several high end cars Ferrari, Lambo, etc. It also has a tasty restaurant, which I ate at called the Derby. Both are recommended if you get the opportunity to visit. Basic information on the car, with more to follow as I update the thread. The car is an '88 325is Lachssilber that has 159,700-ish miles, ronal ls German wheels, stromung exhaust, turner (I believe conforti chip), K&N cold air, and interior is gray leather sport seats. I will be driving the car from Seattle to Las Vegas, where I reside beginning Sunday. A brief stop in Napa will be taking place on Monday (too good an opportunity to pass up). The car is very clean and exceptionally well maintained. Below are photos of the car as purchased, my own will be added as I travel to more interesting locales than my current Hyatt parking garage. Things to be addressed in the next couple weeks; tint (dark, in Vegas no way I am going without it, purists be damned), bumper swap to '89 (included in sale), Mtech II steering wheel, condor speed shop tall weighted shifter, other odds and ends. Cheers!

Reminiscent of my car when I bought it, minus the wheels.

        Congrats

Thanks gents. Car is super clean. Detail n paint buff is on deck. Sun is a destroyer in Vegas so the tint is a must. As far as the bumpers go I will keep all the stock parts and tint can always come off. Car is super clean and drives like a dream.

Whats happening in Napa? Also, might be a time to get a Flickr acct or maybe download tapatalk for hosting the pics?

                  Nice car!
So similar to my Delphin 88 325is. Also sporting the metal bumpers.
Only difference is mine has heated cloth which is surprisingly completely intact!

                  Mind sharing what you paid?
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

The heated cloth is very rare and the delphin is awesome. Paid 11k with split shipping coming on the '89 bumpers painted.

Nice car and can't wait to see where you take it. I've had the pleasure of spending some time around the Shop and it certainly is a super cool place.

So took "dieter" 600 miles today from Seattle to Eureka! Some sporty stretches on the 199 and 101. Got the car up to 118 on a stretch of 101. Car is exceptionally fun to drive especially with throttle control. Below are a few snaps of the trip. Agreed on the "shop" a great spot to do a car deal.
