Was attempting to bleed my clutch today and shot the dowel pin out of the slave. Assumed the worst when I heard a hollow ping noise. Confirmed when I pulled the slave out a little bit.
Managed to get the old slave out after disconnecting the line and pulling the dowel out. The big concern is getting a new one back in. I don't know if it's even possible to get one with it mounted.
My only only hope is that if the trans is lowered down a little when the trans brace is disconnected I can get one attached.
Has anyone had to do this before? Any tips? I don't even want think about dropping the trans.
