    Differential bushing

    About to pull the trigger on this as I forgot to order with everything else. Is the preferred course of action the factory bushing p/n 33171134802 or the Z3m bushing p/n 33-17-2-228-425.

    $302 vs $352 Good lord! I'm all about OEM bushings but at this point I'd just go 3rd party.

      I’ve found the z3 one for as low as $275 but the other one is not cheap.

        Do not get the $20 OEM Corteco either. It's known to be slightly oversized and will brake your cover once you press it in. I opted for Powerflex 80A poly. It's a two piece design with reinforcement washers for only $45.

          Yeah I’ve got all rubber bushings throughout not sure how a polymer compound bushing would mix in there. Car is all stock power wise and no plan to change that for the time being.

            I would still pay the money for a good stock bushing. Poly diff bushings IMO don't last as long (they're either too soft to be effective, or so harsh that you'll get a ton of NVH). A new stock bushing will last 20+ years. I threw the last poly diff bushing I had in the trash after only 5 years.

              Yeah went with the stock ix one, I mean in the grand scheme that wasn’t and let’s be honest most I’ll have to fork over for a part.
