325IX currently has bilstein (sport I think) with stock springs
1- Whats the best way to test the shocks and struts to make sure they still have life? I know I have some sway link bars and ball joints to replace, Im also doing tie rods and strut towers. But before I order new struts, how can I check to make sure I actually need to replace them?
2- I jumped the gun and ordered bilstein rears and (TRIED) to order bilstein fronts, apparently these are back ordered and/or NLA. I then figured maybe I'll just go KYB all around, but it looks like KYB doesn't offer fronts for the IX.
- Is it best to go same brand all around? (Sachs might be my only option)
Edit: I don't care for lowering anything or running super expensive shocks for track. Id prefer as close to ride height as possible, this is a semi-daily car
