    looking for build sheet?

Trying to find build sheet for my 1992 m-tech 2 convertible.
Can anyone give me an idea of where to find it online. I could
just go to the dealer, but would rather check here first.
    thanks,
    jm

Easiest way is to put your VIN into one of the online BMW VIN decoders.

Alternatively, give the dealer a call with your VIN.

    Good luck!

There should be one on the bottom of the rear lower seat. It's folded into a little square and stapled to the foam.

Yes, I checked under the seat; nothing there. will check at the dealer this week.

Ahhh, if only my 30 year old car had the original seats.

At least, Hans and Gunther signed their names on the insides my now extremely beat up E30 M3 seats..

Happen to have the link for one of the bmw vin decoders that will give a build sheet?
I am only seeing the information like 1992 convertible built in Feb of 1992.
            thanks,

Look for BMW Mobile Tradition. IIRC all the vin decoders basically show you your options etc. but it's not really a factory 'build sheet'.

Any good vin decoder sites? All the ones I use to use are down

                  No clue.

Most of them are using stolen BMW databases, so it's not entirely shocking that they keep getting shut down. Also they serve ads, and lots of them. I expect to be under attack when visiting such sites.

Mobile Tradition is the only legit way that I know of. Or gleam what you can with sites based on the ETK, which BMW seems more willing to ignore...

BMW VIN decoder will check your BMW VIN and show you full vehicle specification

                        thanks

got some good information on this site, but no one seems to say this is an m-tech car?
Seems like it should say m-tech 2 somewhere?
Maybe I do not understand the numbers??
                        thanks again,
