    M3 Sway Bar Specs?

Tonight I am picking up an M3 Instrument Cluster and an M3 Rear Sway Bar.

Would the front bar be a good upgrade over my stock sway? or should I still go with the Cabrio Front Sway bar?

Apples and oranges. totally differant mounting points and the M3 bar is smaller but due to mounting points is better, but you need to get you strut tubes welded.

Ok, that is what I was unclear on, I knew the sway links themselves were different, but that was all.

I guess I will still go with the Cabrio Front Sway with the M3 Links

Really? I have heard of some good improvments with that upgrade?

well, the M3 mounting point effectively makes the front sway bar perform like its actually larger diameter, hence the smaller diameter of the front M3 bar. If you do both a bigger diameter bar (Cabrio) and the m3 mounting point, the front sway bar will act even bigger. you dont want to upset the balance I dont think. Too large a front bar will promote understeer, which will suck.

Therefore, If it were me, I'd either do M3 bars F&R with the M3 mounting point, or the cabrio front bar on the stock mounting point and the m3 rear bar. Honestly, I doubt many people will be able to tell a difference between the two setups, and the cabrio/m3 combo bolts up to an e30

Underster the reason why BMW does staggered wheel sizes nowadays. Promotes slowing for curves.

Rear bar upgrade only sounds like fun. How much do they go for on the market?

I agree about the cabrio bar and the m3 links that is my setup right now and it understeers now where before with just the cabrio bar it was about perfect. I'm probally going to stick an 18mm front bar on and see how that feels. or go with a large rear bar as I just have the stock one.

Upgrading the front bar only was a rather interesting move in the first place. Why did you do it?

                              Yep exactly
It was perfect handeling with the 21mm cabrio bar alone. Now with the m3 endlinks the front stays perfectly flat but the rear body roll is noticable. It handles fine and any one who rides with me comments on how well the car sticks. But before with just the 21mm bar the car felt more neutral.
