Official IS Lip Group Buy thread...

Well, I talked to Patrick with BMA today and got prices on a 88-91 IS spoiler group buy (Part # 51 71 1 968 488)

Please post if you are READY TO BUY ONE, not if you think you might want to.

If we buy 5-9 it will be $147 shipped
If we buy 10-14 it will be $140 shipped
If we buy 15 or more it will be $136 shipped

Add an additional $4.50 for 10 new clips to mount the spoiler if needed.

I'm sure we can exceed 15 or more, so I am going to give this thread a few days to see who is interested and then we will see what we can do.

It is a little much, i asked him for a quote recently and he quoted me 140 for just the lip, the price should be shipped, he usually does ship it for free when i order over 100bux, so yeah.

Have we gotten nowhere with this? I am still waiting for the name of the dealer that sells this lip for $115.00 If I can buy one for that, and shippin no more than $10.00, then I want one. Anyone else?>

I called and left a message but no return call yet. It will probably be first of next week now. Louie says that normally for a "group buy" he needs at least 15 people. I am sure we have that much interest. I will email him again, and follow up with a phone call again next week. So you guys hold up on buying one til we settle this.

Thanks for the effort. I have sent at least two PMs and made one post requesting the name of the dealer who sells this part for $115.00 and have yet to receive a response. I am beginning to think that "someone" was popping off at the mouth.

Anyway, I will follow up next week with Louie Louie to find out what he has to offer. Keep your fingers crossed. I NEED this part. The one on my wrecker is torn, and I think the new car deserves a new spoiler.
