I've got the M roadster lever, but no spare for the meantime. I've been thinking of a z4 lever since the M has the longest rod below the fulcrum for shorter shifts, but the lever itself is also pretty tall for easier shifting.
          Old and improved:

I've got a Z4 2.5 lever, the top is kinda chewed up from the previous owner using one of those universal set-screw shift knobs, but you can still use a factory knob with it. LMK.

              cool.

time-frame? could you get the little vinyl spacers if you want to replace those and clips if you want to replace those ready and have quick turn around.

i obviously have the eta so i can swap out the rod and send to you, but don't know on time. I *would* like to get wipers working, headlight & foglight in, and interior shampoo'ed before I drive it regularly. Driveshaft can wait.

I could probably get it installed and get the 2.5 lever on its way to you the same day.

Sorry Matt. Bought Z3 2.8 Shifter like I wanted and was debating against the Z4 3.0 with. Employee discount helped too.

Also probably will sell off Dan Gillan's custom ChrisD shift knob. Stainless steel ~3lbs, powdercoated black. Works great with the 3.0 Lever. The Z3 has a longer arm so it needs less effort, so the E36 stock knob with me fine. $80 shipped obo.

                    $45 shipped Z4 3.0 Shift lever.

They said it would get in Thursday night. I'm off Friday at noon. I'll swap it out and ship it Friday.

any intrest in a trade? I have a completly mint M6 shift knob thats currently in my 323i, its the old style m6 knob, just the small little knubby one with the bmw roundel on it. Its a very nice knob and goes really well with my z3 shifter but i want something more bling.
