I have a e34 right now, but am about to buy another e30 so I will look a little different.

Just wanted to see if you guys would like to meet up at my shop, nothing special there, just a place to start out. then could go for a mountian drive. this would be an all day thing, filling up at least once.

I am thinking a couple weeks out. If enough people say they can come fo sure I will bring a grill and we can have food when we get back into town.

ok cool, I'd probally skip out after the Mnt drive as i'd be closer to home. Thanks for the offer of the lift, but I don't want to drive the car that far with the diff the way it is.

I want to have at least five cars before we commit to meeting up.

Deals Gap/Dragon sounds good. Not this coming weekend but the next I can't commit to anything as I'll be visting relatives. But Any other weekend I'd be more then willing to lead the way up as I've been to the dragon who know how many times(only 55 minutes from my house :twisted: )

Ok so the standing event date is Saturday August 13th.

I would like to start the Gap at 10 am, sound good? Never been before.

I guess it is at least an hour and half away for me.

The Earlier the better for the Gap. 13th sounds perfect. I'll spread the word to some Chattanooga guys as they were talking about doing a drive early in August. Do you want to meet up at the Gap or? I'm not sure if back roads or interstate would be quickest for you, by interstate it would be about 3 hours for you.

If I do this:

From the Atlanta area take I-575 north until it ends and merges into the 515. Follow the 515 north. From the 515 take the 60 North/East towards Murphy. At this point the road will have merged with US highway 129. Stay on US 129 North. We are located 18 miles north of Robbinsville, NC.

3 hours?

Would I cross your path? If so we could meet before the gap. At teh Gap is fine too.

At the other end of the dragon there is a small Gas station/Grill where we will stop every so often to regroup, use the bathroom, chat etc...
If any one get's lost or can't find us just park there and eventualy we'll catch back up

I go up 75 to Sweetwater then take 68 to 411 north, Then 72 east, and then catch 129. I dumps out realy close to the lower end gravel parking lot

The Knoxville guys will be running the Dragon September 18th if anybody can't make this one. I'll be honest the cops have been cracking down on the NC side of the dragon(it's mostly in TN), it's been discourging the last few times I've gone up there seeing a mobile comand post setup with 20 cops sitting there.
