Weird POP coming from the rear of my car

Hey everyone, this is my first post... I have been on DTM for a while and have a question. First off I am pretty good with my car, I have done ALL the work on it myself with the help of my friend. So I know how to tighten bolts. There is some major work done to the rear suspension of my car.... All urethane bushings, ground control adj swaybar kit, 4.10 lsd, arm welds (like m coupe), new half shafts and bearings. The half shafts are the newest addition. Anyway, kinda weird, when I put the car in reverse and release the clutch there is a strange POP coming from the rear end. Just one POP, when I put it in forward again, the same POP, just one. I jacked it up and checked all the nuts and bolts to make sure the half shafts were tight and the diff bolts were tight, also the sway bar bolts and subframe bolts are tight, shocks too. Is it possible that my strut mounts are worn and the POP is them flexing? Those are really the only original bushings left from when I bought the car.... I know they wera out especially when a stiffer suspension is added. Has anyone experienced this before?
    Yours truly,

I honestly couldnt tell you, but I'd take a look at those shock mounts, they're easy enough to replace.

I had a noise in my E36 M3 that reminds me of what you are describing. It wasn't a sharp pop... kind of a dull thud. It turned out to be the back two bolts of the differential. I had loosened them so I could pry the differential out of the way while changing the rear control arm. Somehow, they didn't get retightened all the way. They were out about an eighth inch. The thud was the differential moving each time I applied either forward or reverse torque.
