    Rev then start to stall

When i lightly tap the throttle, or when coming down out of gear, the RPMS will drop and go to about 400 RPM and get really rough (only for a second) then bounce back up and get normal again. Although it NEVER does stall, its kind of disconcerting, any leads? Imma try to blow out the ICV with some carb cleaner later.

    Possibly ICV.

I had a bad ICV and if memory serves me correct i think it did that were it runs rough and such. I was lucky and had a spare ICV on my old block so i just swapped them and now the car idles just fine

your looking at a dirty/bad iac motor. try carb cleaner, that normally solves the problem.

      hope that helps

Is your check engine light on?

I have same problem and it just started recentley after putting everything/motor together. Started it up, check engine light was on, checked everything and everything is hooked up, I'm sure because I took it apart alot of times and never had any similar problem, long story short, car chockes when I start it up, sometimes stalls, bogs at certain RPMs, and when it gets warmed up, it starts to rev freely but still bogs, and chocking sometimes comes back.

I know its something with AFM or ICV, but I just dont have those parts to check and make sure they are causing this problems, but I'll find out today, and post results. BTW, I cleaned AFM and ICV with carb. cleaner but still nothing, I mean helped little bit but still everything same.
