    LED Bulbs in cluster issue

    Whats up all,

I recently decided to change out the old bulbs in my cluster for all LEDs as a couple were out from superbrightleds.com. All of them work except for all the warning lights on the bottom of the cluster.

With the LED bulbs in, they all stay on even when theres no warnings, and when one of the warning lights are actually on, the bulb gets slightly brighter. The voltage range on the LED bulbs are 9-14.8v. The stock incandescent bulbs operate at 12v. Anybody have any solutions to fix this, I've read a few people were able to get it to work as normal but they're all old threads.

I've switched the warning bulbs only back to incandescent in the mean time.

Why not just use regular bulbs? There is no advantage to the LEDs.

Aren't they brighter and don't they last longer?

They might be brighter, but why do you need brighter dash lights? The stock ones are plenty bright. You'll likely just blind yourself with brighter lights.

And the stick incandescents last 15-20 years, so...

Some dash LED conversions you see are so bright you'd need to be Corey Hart to drive the car.
