Ya I know about Franks Hub.I ran this motor for 4 years, it was in my M6.
It has 110.000 miles great numbers - no leaks.
I'm also using the 280 tranny from the m6.
I don't know why everyone was so down on doing this swap.It is plug and play.1988 M6 ---1989 e30..most wires mate in the c101 x20.

Looking good, little tight with brake booster (?) :)

What kind of radiator you're going to use, custom made under lock-panel?

Stop by anytime, I always have time to talk BMWs.

Here's what the motor came out of.

The mounts are 300.de ... they do good work.

Frank get that swap done damm what 3 years now.

                          My other project

Is that the same shark that ended up in the rocklin pnp yard? It had a cage still in it but nothing else.

I would love to see your car in person someday as well!

Fuck yes. I'm going up to norcal (palo alto) in july, will you be giving rides by then?

This is the first I've heard of a stateside S38 swap, besides James Crivellone's plans. Has it been done over here yet?
