You can also try using a dremel with a wire brush attachment. That will clean it really well.

Wear a mask and eye protection though.

But they're unnecessary if you're not racing the car. Just get an OEM replacement and call it a day. The original lasted 30 years, so I don't think you'll have to worry about it again.

325is getting 400 miles to the tank and 12 gallons to fill up? That's 33mpg and I'm calling bs. My eta, in it's best shape, got 30mpg, and that is fairly common for etas. You want better gas mileage...

I cut 2/3s of the bump stops off on my street ix and that helped me stop bottoming out as well. I'm not sure why...
