    New Daily, who dis.

Earlier in 2018 my e30 met with an unfortunate end in the way of a fire.
    Before:

    After:

Very sad for me and it took some time to get over it but I needed a daily asap. Craigslist had its usual offering of over priced e30's but I was drawn to a particular e39. Decently maintained, high mileage with a lower mileage motor swapped in, most suspension bits done as well as some no-name coilovers. 1 day after my e30 was gone I was talking to the seller and a day later I brought my first e39 home. 1998 528i 5spd, Aspen Silver.

    When I got it:

    As it sits now:
Already did maintenance, all fluids, new pads & rotors and some cosmetic touches. Future plans include doing the rear differential bushing, sorting out the interior and some audio upgrades.

Looks like a nice example. Been thinking about picking up an e39 for my daily. Save wear and tear on my e30.

Currently you can get a steal on really nice low mile e39 540l's.
