    1988 BMW 325is - No Longer Available

    1988 BMW 325is

I spent forever trying to find the best possible E30 I could drive and I found it in this car. I DD this car, and I've taken incredibly good care of it since the day I bought it, along with previous owners who have done the same. The ONLY reason I am selling it is because since moving to Colorado I have come to the realization that I go to the mountains almost every weekend and this is not the car to do that (nor does this nice of an E30 deserve that). Anyway, heres all the info about the vehicle:

    Since June of this year:

New timing belt & accessory belts
    New spark plugs
    New cap and rotor
    New plug wires
    Valve Adjustment
    New tires
New stereo with microphone for hands free calling (New working antenna)
    New ABS relay
Replaced front Rotors and new brakes all around (a month ago)
    New emergency brake handle
    New crank position sensor

    Before I bought it:

PO reupholstered drivers side seat ($1500)
H&R suspension (sport springs in the trunk included but not installed)

    The good:

    Roughly 160k original miles
Very very minimal rust if any
    Crack free dash
Everything works (but odometer see below)
    Very clean exterior and interior
    over a decade of records

    The bad:

The odometer went out a month ago - I know this was a scary aspect of buying for me when I was looking, but I have over a decade of records to prove I'm not lying about this to help put your mind at ease.

As I think of more info I may have forgotten I will add to the post.

Looking to get 9k - I want to break even on this, not looking to make profit just want to leave her in good hands and get a more practical car for where I am living.

Please let me know if you want more info/more pictures/etc. I know I could have been more thorough but Im confident we can hash out any details you might want to know over the phone.

    770 - six nine five - 609six

    Thanks,

    Jon

bump! Also, forgive me, the door panel reads 9/88 so technically it was built in 88, but really its an 89! Registered as an 89 and everything, consistent throughout, just my rookie mistake.

    Sorry, totally my fault.

      Very nice!

Interested to see where this ends up price wise. This is very close to one of the styles of E30 that I am looking for. Want a reality check to see what they are worth.

      GLWS!

Good point, I wanted to be completely honest. There's a quarter sized rust spot on the back of the car where the paint chipped. The missing clear coat allowed for the rust to attack that spot. Theres also a scratch (like someone keyed the car) about 3 inches long near the gas tank where a tiny bit of rust filled in. I have pictures of all these things I will add and pictures of the car up on a lift with no rust.

              Thanks for pointing that out.
