I like the look of the Jongbloed 557 wheels as well, but I don't know if they make them in a 4x100 e30 fitment that would clear these kits. The 557 is similar in design to a number of BBS wheels that fit well with the E30 era styling. I emailed them to inquire about it.

Lee - yep, I’ve running 225 on 8” and idea is to switch to 245 on 9” . For comparison sake I do have 245 on 8.5 front and 255 on 9”? On the e34 and they are nice and flat sidewalks without bubbling.

Talked to Ryan last Friday. He says the wheels will be 1.5” lips, 6.5” barrel, ET15. I plan to run a 225/45 so we will see how this plays out. Hopefully it fits or else I just made an expensive mistake...

If guys intend to fit a BBK with 32mm (1.25") discs and wide calipers (Superlite or Radial Superlite), I suggest building the rims with a much larger offset (perhaps 25mm more, or around et40) and use 15 to 25mm hubcentric spacers. Perhaps the style that bolts onto the hub so that you don't have to worry about spacers falling down when changing wheels.

Of course, you'll be losing the wide lip style, but purpose is before look ;-) If you look at DTM or BTCC e30 M3s, they had rims with a flat face i order to create extra room for their brakes.

Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

You should be fine, but it's going to depend a lot on your ride height and alignment.

Thank you 🙏 I’ll write to Ryan and see what he can share about the upcoming 15x9 wheels . I am currently on 15x9 and 225/45 and that’s not a difficult fitment so I am sure you’ll be fine . I had also 225/50 size as well. My goal is 245” on 9” but key is to clear bbk as well.

              Cheers

Please share any info you get back, I'd be interested in 15x9s for Time Trials next year. That's the best width to run a 205 R7 on.

Will ET15 clear stock strut housings? My 15x8 +20s are reaaaally close, by math I would think you'd need ET 7 or less. Of course, a 10mm spacer is vastly preferable to 25mm spacers to run Miata wheels.

Anyone interested in fitting big brakes with a 15x8 should look into the konig dekagram. Only 12.3 lbs in 15x8 et25

Not a bad looking wheel, I was looking at their 15x9 option before but the offset is not right :/

Looks pretty decent actually, has anyone confirmed that this has clearance for the 300X32 kit?

The UUC caliper is pretty narrow and small. If this one fits, it doesn't mean that the bigger Superlite will. ;-)

Makes sense. I dont physically have a wheel to check tolerances yet. Although, at et 25 a 5mm space all around shouldn't be the slightest issue.

I just emailed Dan at 949 Racing and they told me that they are planning to have another batch available mid 2019. I would send them an email so they can put you on the email list for updates.
