    Accuracy Automotive (Jparkr) 327is build

ok, so since my 325is got the interior remodeled to my liking, most the components off the engine (A/c P/s cruise, ect.), and the wirring harness drasticly simplified (deleted obc, srs, cruise, ect.).
    original build thread:

    this happend:

    to find out how visit:

Anyway, its time to start a full rebuild. A rebuild that was eventually going to be done; but didnt want it to be so soon. im going to rebuild the engine to a 2.7i.
that build thread can be found here:

    ok
lets get caught up to where im at now.

assesing the situation and removing all the damaged peices:

Then i gathered up the peices i would need. finally it was time for the engine to move out for the paint shop:

    "crivy and i working late."

^ stupid me, i get to find my third shift support rod now.

as it sits right now, ready for my to pull the interior and harness:

my e36 rack would have been WAY easier this way. :hitler:

    sad

my new undrilled boot lid, for my M3 replica wing

as usual, i will keep updating as the project continues.

              update, pictures tomorrow

Only thing I'm gonna comment on is how much I hate pulling the wiring from the gas tank...

Tank is now remounted and all under car wiring is removed.

Tomorrow I'll have the wiring 100% removed and the car will be trailered to the body shop this week. Thank GOD!

              Pics tomorrow.

                Update 3

                picture updates.
                New hood.

Carpets come out much easier when they are rotting and you have a knife.

Pulling the harness alone took more time then I thought.

But after about 15 minutes it all was done.

Ill try to get more once its all cleaned out. Its body shop time! :D

                  Update 4

So I got the engine out of my garage, and my car out of the driveway today!!! :D It is sitting at my parents house for the rest of the weekend to finish some little things before the body shop. The trailer we used was really, really cool but i couldn't get any pictures of it because it was too dark. Anyway, pictures below as usual.

                  Towing the car.

Its very temporary resting spot at my parents.

Removing flywheel to get engine stand attached

All hooked up and ready to be worked on while the car is getting painted.

                  more later as usual.

Good progress. Are you having the engine bay painted as well?

So what exactly is happening here? Why you are completely stripping the car?

Let's drive fast and have fun.
