    65k Mile 1989 325i - New member Intro

    Hey guys,
    I'm pretty active on BMW2002FAQ and bigcoupe. I currently own a 1985 M635CSI (Frank Fahey stroked 4.0) and a 1970 BMW 2002.

Today I purchased a very low mile E30 325i with zero rust (unheard of in NH)

The car wasn't running and had been left under a tree all summer. The paint is chalky and there's dirt embedded into the paint but i'm slowly getting it out with clay.

I narrowed down the issue to be the alternator and quickly replaced it. The car drives beautifully now and I can't find any issues. Timing belt, new exhaust, power steering hoses and radiator were done less than 5k ago.

She needs, roundels in the front and back, roundel stickers for the bottle caps, right rear bumper plastic trim piece, new 6 button or 8 button (dont remember) OBC, tach doesn't work (si board batteries?)

If anyone has any of these parts laying around, I could use them!

My dad has been looking for a fun car as a backup to his super unreliable Cadillac. He's away from home now but I sent him pictures and he's really excited about it.. I guess this car is staying in the family.

That looks extremely tidy & clean. Great find! Do you plan to leave it completely stock or do you have intentions to upgrade it? Either way what a great base to work with. Enjoy it. We'd love to see pics of your 635 as well!

What do you guys think the E30 is worth? Maintenance is up to date. New rad, timing belt, water pump, battery, alt, power steering lines . - Less than 3k since then.
            I'm fixing every little thing.
New bumper trim piece, roundels, logos for the wheels, power antenna grommet, windshield wiper grommets, OBC and deck/speakers on the way.
