Maustech Cluster / M3 Oil Temp Questions

Hey all,

I am trying to get more info on my cluster and how to get the oil temp gauge to work.

Backstory:
I purchased a car with what I thought was a E30 M3 cluster.

When doing my 24v swap I asked Markert to wire my harness for an E30 M3 cluster with Oil Temp gauge.

I installed a Rall Road Oil Distribution Block to get the E30 M3 oil temp and oil pressure switch a home.



After wiring it up, Market sent a pin and wire for the C101 for Pin 19. I wired this in and took that wire to the cluster.

This is where I discovered this was not an OEM cluster, but a Maustech cluster. I wired up the pin 19 to the white wire

Cluster was refurbished by BavRest but they could not tell me anything on the Oil Temp gauge as they did not do it.




Anyone have any thoughts or insight?

FWIW, when sending via Google translate or similar, I find it helpful to include the original message as well. Google might garble it or insult them, but at least if you have the original message, they might be able to read it or run it by someone who can. :)
