    NEW - VSR E30 M3 Race Muffler

    Group,

We are now pleased to offer you another alternative for a M3 race muffler.
This muffler is designed for track & competition use!
    • 100% stainless steel construction
    • 3" straight exit tips
    • Non-resonated exhaust tips

These mufflers will be built to order! Build time is ~2 weeks from time of order.
This piece will be setup to fit in conjunction with the VSR Stainless Steel Center Section (Both catalytic & non-catalytic versions).

This muffler will be built here in the USA, custom to our specifications, so you can be assured it is not just a rebranded piece from a mass-produced overseas supplier.

    Cost: $525.00 + shipping

2.0"OD Inlet Pipes - mandrel bent
    3.0"OD Exhaust tips
    ~18lbs in weight
The system will have thick front & rear walls on the muffler body to prevent the fracturing commonly seen on other prevalent race mufflers.

Below are some photos of the final system.
These are built to order, so if you want one, please allow some amount of lead time.

Total weight of muffler comes in at 18lbs. (Other common mufflers on the market weigh in around 20lbs+)
    100% Stainless Steel
    Straight exit tips
Muffler body is ~18" in length, which is ~3-5" shorter than most "street" mufflers.

I'll let the photos do the talking....

    Thank you,
    Chris

          Thanks guys.

I know this is M3 specific, but if enough people express interest in a non-M "race" muffler, we might be inclined to build one of those too.

It is made in CA by a very well known manufacturer of performance exhaust systems.
VSR doesn't sell knock-off Chinese junk. Be it wheels, suspensions, or performance parts.

I'll have to work on getting a sound-clip.
I expect to have a customers car in for an install in the next few weeks, but it will be with a non-cat center section.

I'll try to install it with a cat version too at the same time for a comparison.

The difficulty with a non-M mid-pipe is the header connections. Realistically, the easiest solution would be to buy a S14 header flange from a distributor, and customize the headers to mate up to the S14 flange. Then you can bolt up the VSR center sections (of either type) quite easily.

We've done this on a few 325i's and S5x swapped cars. It also makes exhaust install/removal much easier!

                          Thanks,
                          Chris
