    FS: 1995 E34 525i, 5-speed, lots of new parts

    Asking $2800 as-is.

I am finally selling my 1995 525i (E34) 5-speed project car, as I don't have time to work on it anymore. Car is Orientblau (dark blue) on parchment. I bought it about six months ago and have done the following:

    - Removed stock M50 engine & transmission
    - Installed M52 engine (reportedly 120k miles, from 1996 328i) w/M50 intake manifold, new motor mounts ($600)
    - Installed brand new JB Racing flywheel and Clutchmasters FX100 performance organic clutch ($1400)
    - Installed ZF320 transmission with spring detent repair kit & custom Revshift giubo / flex disc, new mounts, new clutch slave, new braided stainless slave cylinder hose ($500)
    - Installed Z3M short shifter
    - Had ECU reflashed for M50 manifold tune, deleted secondary air pump (SAP), EWS, rear O2 sensors ($200)
    - Installed brand new Bilstein Sport shocks & struts with matching new H&R springs ($700)

The engine runs, but it apparently needs a new headgasket, as there is white vapor in the exhaust. Everything else on the car works fine - brakes, steering, etc. Drivetrain & suspension alone are worth the sale price, but I'd rather just sell the whole car as a parts car or project for someone else.

Clutch, flywheel, Revshift giubo, suspension setup have 0.1 miles on them. Took car for test drive, saw white vapor in the exhaust, and parked it. Also have brand new hood & trunk struts ready to install, along with the required gaskets for the head gasket replacement.
