There's a guy here in Oz who has an E30 M3, and an S54 w/ SMG sitting beside it for install. I suspect people are moving on from the "it's impossible" heresay.

Do you have any more detail? like email or something, Im just about to start the same convertion

Nothing is impossible, but some things aren't worth it.

repost but yeah... you get rid of a lot of the confusion by using an aftermarket ems... its not that hard of a swap still though just expensive.... you looking at over 15k if you get the motor and trans for 3k
