      hey cool build.

      if you dont mind me asking, what type of paint did you use to paint the block black? (say that 5 times fast.....)

          Thanks, I know how bad it sucks to have some one rear end you car and total it, happend to my E46.

          I used Dupli-Color Engine Enamel
          I thing it was DE 1634 Low Gloss Black I can check the number on the can that I used if you want. You can get it at most auto parts stors.

                              Time for some more updates. I keep forgetting to bring the camra with me so the are from the iPhone and suck.

                              Got the rear end all back together.


                              Got the old M50NV pulled out.




                              Removed stock airbox mount


                              Started prepping engine bay for paint


                              I got two of the wheels built last night. The other two still need to be painted.





                              Hope to get done this week:

                              -Reinforce front subframe and swaybar mounts.
                              -Get engine bay all preped for fresh Alpine White II which sould be here Thursday.
                              -Paint and build the other two wheels.
                              -Order new control arms and FCAB bushings

                              I only have five more weeks to finish it in time for the picnic.

                                Update: Engine is in and drive line is hooked up. All that is left to do is wire up the engine, build the exhaust. Hoping it starts this weekend.
