    Fs: 1987 bmw 325

    **SOLD**

Hello everyone! I'll keep this short. I'm on a passive quest to own as many different types of E30s as I can, so I keep an eye out for good cars for good prices. I needed to kill some time between my last E30 and my potential E36 track build this winter, so I picked up this really clean Eta to play around with. The E36 is ready to be sold, so the E30 must go. This is the cleanest exterior E30 I've owned and a very straight shell. Solid mechanically, but the interior cosmetics are what keep this car from being a real peach.

    Vin:WBAAE5402H1692665
    Price: $2500 OBO
    Location: Vienna, VA. 22182

I have thousands of dollars in receipts going back to 2009, including the paint job, AC conversion, etc.

    1987 325 (eta) 2.7 liter
-191,004 miles. Odometer has stopped (No, I do not know how many miles after the odometer stopped, but the car runs too well for me to think it was a lot.)
    - 5 speed manual
    - Painted 3 years ago (8/10 currently. Some scuffs and dents, but it
    still looks amazing)
    - Exterior is in great condition. Bumpers show no wear or scuffs, all
exterior trim is all there except for a missing side marker on the rear
    bumper.
    - Early Model IS front air dam (Not using the uber rare bracket to mount)
-Blue interior in fair-ish condition. I swapped a tan comfort seat in good
condition for the broken driver seat, but I'll include the original seat.
    -Bilstein shocks
-Working AC/Heat converted to R134. Blower motor is silent
-Aftermarket head unit (front speakers aren't wired up)
-Cracked dash, trim around hazard switch area is cracked
-overhead computer has a crack and always reads for coolant. Reads for brake lights and one other thing (can't remember what) when pressing brake pedal
-All accessories work except the front left turn signal is out and the
    passenger window doesn't go down.
    -New Guibo
-Starts instantly and idles very well. Pulls strong (for an Eta), no
    hiccups.
-Power Steering pump was replaced at some point and doesn't work
very well at idle, but feels fine once you're moving
    -New tires within last year
    -Has unbroken toolkit
-New Radiator (PO wired in a switch to force the electric fan to high)
-Needs a reverse switch wire (guibo took this out)
-Could use a shifter rebuild and a new boot (have that ordered)
-Multifunction clock (commonly mistaken for an OBC) works
flawlessly with no dead pixels. No thermometer hooked up (reads -22)
    -Gauges work, lights work
    -Missing latch on glove box
    -New Brake lines
    -new slave cylinder
-slight getrag rattle if idle dips below 850
    -central locking is inoperable

I can't be for certain what the respray was. I'll can confirm what the original color was, but that really won't be any indication.

Decoding the VIN reveals it as LAPISBLAU (173).

          Thanks, I appreciate that!

Also, I've been a pain to schedule with on selling this car, so it hasn't moved on yet. $2000 for any R3VLimited member. Need to make room for racecar in the winter.

Does the Tach work? When was the timing belt changed last? Thanks.

All gauges work except odometer. I do not have any receipts for when the TB/WP was done and I haven't pulled the distributor cover off to see if there is a sticker. I would recommend doing those to be safe as a buyer planning to keep it for a while.

I haven't had the time or incentive to do it yet.
