have you seen any signs of the strut towers cracking after redrilling them for those hats? i was thinking of possibly redrililng the actual hats to avoid messing up the integrity of the strut towers, but it looks like there isnt really a way to do it without some type of adapter in-between, which would raise the ride height.
Got bottlecaps on all 4 corners now, and it rides alot better than it did with 16's.. looks kinda cool too cause the wheel/tire assemblies are stuck farther out with the e36 offset

come on, Atomic, bragging about using m3 parts, then telling us you're running spacers and high offset heavy wheels? Something isn't making sense. Why aren't you running proper wheels without spacers if you've already spent all that money on m3 parts?

PS: DS2's are incredibly heavy, why did you settle on those wheels?

i'm pretty cornfused also. maybe he really likes 17's? i might be biased, but i think some 16x8 style 5's would be perrrfect.

IMHO DS2's look really good on a e30, who said I have settled on those wheels? For the Record I was just posting what they looked like on a e30 for others to see. They are heavy as shit and yes you have to run spacers to make them work with e30 m3 suspension parts, who fucking cares? At least I have the option to run many wheel offsets...

Oh and the DS2 wheels are likely sold (tires are already dismounted), so the style 66's, 42's and RKII's are where I am at now.

I do like 17's and the fact that 332x32mm and 310x32mm BBK kits are in the plans means I can't use 16's in the end... So why bother?

yeah you will need the 17's then, because my 315mm brakes w/ calipers are about 2mm away from touching the wheel weights on the wheel.

Golde30 how the hell are you fiting those tires under your fenders? I tried running 225/50/15 on my e30 cab with e30 M3 suspension swap and had major rubbing issues.

                          What gives?!
