    Racing Dynamics Rear Apron...WTF?

I had been looking for a RD rear apron and finally found one for sale (new in the box incl all hardware in original bag) not too far from me. Brought it home and test fit it, only to find that the exhaust opening doesn't line up at all.
The RD apron itself nor the actual body panel on the car have been modified.
This apron is supposed to fit both diving board and plastic style bumpers.
Before I contact the seller about returning it, thought I'd see if anyone has run into this before and can explain why it's not lining up.

You need to move exhaust over.

It's obviously not that simple. The exhaust opening in the apron doesn't line up with the opening in the body.

          Ohhh. Ok.

          Is that an aftermarket exhaust?

Exhaust is centered in body opening.

Sure it's a real piece and not a replica? The whole looks far to large.

How much do you want for it, shipped to 90019?

Interesting and RD had two sources Italy and the place in Alexandria VA. The were selling their molds when I was living there and looked at them briefly. Been awhile since I have seem one in person so I just did an image search.

They are still in Business maybe send them a shot and ask them. The right side looks like it should be swapped to the left for exhausts that were angled on the early chassis's even though your box says post facelift.

I paid $450 and that seems like a fair price these days.
Shipping by UPS or FedEx is $210-$226.
If I use shipbikes.com it looks like $75 or so.

LMK, so I can get about listing it locally if not agreeable.

                          Thanks

Thank you for the response, it's a bit steep for my pocket at this time.

Was this made for metal bumpers? Could that be the reason why it's not lining up?
