We get cars from Orlando and even Daytona for the BMW CCA Brooksville events. However they do know people on this side of the state, so they come over the day before to visit friends then go to the event.
We try for 8 runs at the BMW events, we do 4 before lunch with 2 run groups. Then do 3 to 5 in the afternoon, depending on the group size and how late every one wants to stay.
The Ocala thing with the Sunshine Mini is really cool also. But your need to have a small car. RE Mini, S2000, Miata etc. since its run on a 30 foot wide 7/10ths go car track.
