        Some stupid questions:
Do I need a wideband o2 sensor for this setup, like LC-1?
If I read the specs right, I can ditch the dist cap in lieu of wasted spark by any ole GM coil driver set?
I can ditch the AFM for MAP? Just run a vacuum hose to the MS unit, and all my air metering is done for me?
Would it work for a m30 or would the maps be way off?

Unless you are running a config that was already tuned to your engine or had it dyno tuned you should have a WB, once tuned you could go back to NB but why??

Correct, this has 3 ignition drivers installed to run wasted spark. There are a few coil setups that you can run for wasted spark, the GMs are a common one and fairly documented.

Correct this will use the MAP sensor so you can ditch the AFM and add an intake temp sensor.

Would it work for a m30 or would the maps be way off?
I'm sure there are M30 tunes around to get you started and then final tune to yours. :)

These boards are specifically for a 55pin Motronics connector, I don't know there would be that much interest in an ETA base version unless I heard otherwise...

You could use a b25i harness as you would probably want the front timing wheel setup anyways and wouldn't need the cold start valve and probably better to use the late ICV??

I am looking in to doing a MS setup for my friend's 2.5L s14. Do you know if they use 55-pin motronic ECU's? The m3's tend to have more early model stuff, so I assume they don't, but I just don't know. I'd love to have something where we could use the stock harness with not a ton of modifying to be done. Also, from what I gather, s14's don't do too well with MAP, so alpha-n would be the way to go.

Is this something you could do?
