    M30B35+Getrag 260 with E36 328i Driveshaft

Can anyone confirm if this would fit? I could only find one thread in a forum from the UK that vaguely mentioned it.

I cannot confirm this but I have some info that I think will help you.
You can use an e36 328i driveshaft in a stock e30 M20 with a 260 (as long as it's the 96mm output flange)or behind a 24v engine with a ZF. You just have to swap out the CSB for a e30 one.
On my M30 swap I ran a G240 which is 1 inch shorter than your G260, with a stock e30 325e driveshaft. I had to extend my slip yolk by 1.5" to reach the transmission. So with a longer 260 transmission I imagine there would only be 1/2 inch to no spline showing on the slip yolk.
It would be much easier to find a 1987 325e driveshaft as they come with the large 96mm flange already.

I am installing a G260 in my car soon and I was going to use the stock e30 driveshaft I already have behind the g240. I just need to swap the larger output flange on the 260 for a small output flange from a M20 G260 since my driveshaft is a small flange.

    e36 manual driveshafts are 57.625"
    e30 manual driveshafts are 57"

    I hope this helps.

Ok, i did wonder if they were cross compatible because the 24v swap says that the 328i driveshaft and the 325e driveshafts can be used.
