I purchased a Seiko compressor thinking it would fit on my 87 325is but it doesn't match up with the lines. Does anyone know which compressor I would need to get? I am hoping to convert to r134a.
on my 1991 318i i have ( denso 10PA17C ) but i have m42 engine i think its different but there is guy who have a post that will walk you through all steps check it out
The only thing spec about early compressers are the seals being r134 compatible. For half what they cost you can get a brand new true r134 compressor...you just have to figure out how to mount it.
In any case hoses and expansion valve should be updated
