    e30 Heater Box Delete

    Hello

I removed the entire heater box/core from my e30 that is currently being stripped down. Its aimed for the trash can right now but have not thrown it away quite yet.

Im wondering if there is anything i NEED off of it, or if i need it at all in general. No need for AC or Heat. I just dont want to throw it in the trash and then months down the line be in the middle of the swap and for some reason needed the heater box or something off of it. There are quite a few plugs and wires coming from it..

Any info would be helpful before i make a possible expensive mistake tossing it, but im tired of seeing all the extra junk laying around that i dont need.

    Thank you R3v

If you throw it out and ever need heat again you can always install a small aquarium.

My advice is to just leave it in the car. Even race cars need a defroster sometimes.

Exactly. Relatively simple system with major benefits, in my opinion.
