How about an 'electrical technical' subforum?

Seems like, as these cars age, electrical issues are getting pretty common.
But searching the 'general technical' picks up a lot of non- electrical... noise... (sorry, had to do it).

Whaddya think?

That's something completely different. Radios and such. I'm talking about ALL things electrical.

That IS all things electrical and electronic equipment, it's just more common for radio stuff to pop up or be asked.

I actually kind of agree that "car audio" and "electronics" should be somewhat seperated. I don't even have a radio in my car. I could care less about all the audio posts in the current forum.

Yeah, I browsed through that the other day- since it's titled 'Audio' first, it seems like 'electronics' applies to 'Audio'- and lots of electrical (as opposed to electronic) questions get asked in General.

My thought was 'Electrical' would be wiring, harnesses, window motors, switches, yadda yadda...
...and things like 'Does anyone have the pinouts for C101?'
and the current forum would go to all audio.
