This is the one I was referring to $12k + BaT fee ($600)
I was lucky enough to buy this car. Had a great 1,000 km (600 mile) drive home through the Canadian Rockies with my daughter after picking it up in Vancouver.

I've put some $$ into it since that purchase and more than I anticipated, so it's not quite the "steal" it seemed at auction's end. Some of the work I would have done myself, but I had a deadline for getting certain failed items fixed and getting it registered in Alberta after its initial "out of province" inspection which meant I couldn't do it on my evenings and weekend pace. But all in all very pleased with the purchase.

I just joined R3VLimited and look forward to learning lots from the community.

Even though you’ve probably put some extra cash into that car, you still got a great buy. That’s a very nice car! Glad to see you’re doing all the right things to take care of her...

There's a manual red vert for sale in the LA area. Probably a bit above your budget though.

I'm keeping my manual tech 2 vert for a very long time.
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

New to r3v but been "using" for years, E28 M-Tech and B8 S4 owner, recently picked up an M-Tech 2 for my first E30. In your budget but not urgent to sell as I have thoughts of a winter resto. Happy to chat or entertain an offer if you're interested though!

Any 91 macuo blue M-Technic 2 out there?

Hi all, it’s my first time posting on here. I have a 91 Sterling Silver Metallic M-Technic 2 S771, I’ve been looking for a 91 macao blue M-Technic 2 for awhile and they never seem to come up for sale so I bought a silver one instead. Would anyone know of someone willing to trade a 91 macao blue M-Technic 2 for a silver one?
I’m slowly restoring the one I have and I’m keeping the original color to the car but before I get to deep I thought I would put out this post first.
              Thank you in advance.

Same deal for me! There is really no cheap way to get one of these cars. I bought the $15,600 mtech 2. It was presented poorly and is much much nicer than I expected. It was a steal but, I am still going to dump $10k+ into it plus my own countless hours in labor when it is all said and done to get it back to showroom. Would have been easier and maybe cheaper to drop $30k but, I wanted silver and factory manual was a bonus.

                Refinished wheels and tires $1200
                NOS Fabric: $1800
Timing belt, dist cap, fan clutch, radiator, water pump, etc: $1,600.
                LSD dif: $350
OEM Exhaust center section, rear section, hardware, plug shields: $1200
                NOS BMW re-manufactured alternator: $650
                OE fuel pump: $300
Millions of small things like clips and such.

Thousands more still on the list...
                Full suspension refresh including dampers
OEM gas tank and rear sub frame reinforcement. Might as well do the bushings and trailing arms while in there.
Steering rack needs to be replaced.
                Injector cleaning, plugs, wires.
                Maybe back to factory radio.
Body work to address the fender and dent under the rear plate.
May replace the front lower valance with new oem.

I saw this one the other day while browsing. Looks like just a appearance package but it’s in the budget if you like verts.
