zionsville steering rack conversion?

why would u want to replace your steering rack to begine with? Newbie question sry

Owning both an E30 and E36 M3, I find the E30 to have VERY sloppy steering. Way too slow for my tastes. The E36 M3 (specially 95 or even Z3) ratio is about perfect for a street/track combo.

Not too mention, E30 racks seem to fail a fair amount.

So what is so special about the kit that ZA sells?

I've heard that E36 racks will bolt right into an E30... so i'm assuming this isn't true? Is the "coupler" that ZA sells a special made piece?

they sell a new modified e30 coupler, plus they give you a e36 high pressure hose which can cost quite a bit if you have to buy a new one
