    E30 houndstooth side bolster fabric

Looking for some fabric to redo my drivers seat side bolsters.
They are cloth sport seats, in what I believe is houndstooth.

Both bolsters on the door side of the drivers seat have holes, and need to be repaired.

Fabric is nla. Best you can do is a close match.

Bump. Anyone have a roll of this stuff by chance?

Or has anyone found stuff that is a close match?

I searched for quite a while to find a reproduction or something with no luck. Your best bet is going to be finding a seat to get the material from. Keep searching, they do turn up once in a while.

Damn that's what I was afraid of.

Any suggestions on what I should do meanwhile? I was thinking maybe "Fabric tape". I just don't know if I can get a color that's close.

opie needs anthrazite fabric (0211), not the houndstooth pattern.
you can source that fabric itself from loose ends of a comfort seat or the rear bench as they seem to me more abundant (read: less scarce) than sport seats themselves.
the plug and play bolsters also pop up time to time on eBay.de or ".co.uk, but be prepared to pay a pretty penny for them.

I've given away too many of my secrets, will crawl back into my cave now

How much do you think I'd need to make a shift boot?

That small chunk I have would be plenty, maybe even enough for 2. That's what I was going to make with it but never happened.

I have this houndstooth shift boot + plastic ring included....if you're interested in it. Prob is there is a tear in the fabric on the bottom right, since the fabric stretched shifting into 1st.
