Shadow line trim keeps detaching

Hey guys so my shadow line trim on the passenger side of my car keeps popping off. I've lost the trim on the freeway and now am on a second set.

Does anyone have a solution? Am I supposed to crimp the trim to the rain gutter? I was thing to buy some metal to metal bonding glue and just glue them together but don't think that's the proper way to fix this issue. Can some one help? Thanks

Have you replaced the metal clips that hold them in place?

You know what? I think your right. I havent seen any of those clamps. I'll buy those clamps and hopefully that will do the job. Thanks buddy.
